I always dreamed of feeling the wind in my hair, seeing the unlimited space, unique landscapes.

One day in the early autumn of 2017 my dream become true.
The adventure started in the heard of California and continued along the Route 66.

The next day we turn in to the direction of the Great Canyon.

Then we continued our journey through the land of Navajo - The Monument Valley

We spent the night near Lake Powell and started the day with a visit to the Antelope Canyon.

In the afternoon we resumed our trip north to Arizona and finished the day with a pleasant hike in the Bryce Canyon.

We spent the night in a tiny camp near Zion Park. I've never been so cold before. We couldn't sleep and we woke up very early.  It was well worth as Zion Park is amazing.

The next evening we made a short break from hiking and wandering and went to Las Vegas. Las Vegas is fantastic if you like to divert sometimes.

After our short city-break, we departed in direction of Death Valley. The landscape became every time more dry and rocky, the air every time hotter.

Suddenly we saw a valley full of snow. The white substance turned out to be salt. The Badwater basin lays 86 meters below sea level.

Despite the lack of vegetation, the landscape of Death Valley is beautiful. 

We spent the night at a camp in the middle of the valley. Observing the sunrise in the desert was unforgettable.

After visiting the north part of Death Valley we turned in the direction of Yosemite. We drove near the Mammoth Mountains and spent the night near Mono Lake.

The following day we started early in Yosemite. 

It was a very active day. We crossed the whole valley and wandered almost till the sunset.

The coming day was the last of our road trip. After spending the morning in the park we started heading west to San Francisco.
